102nd All Home Days Event Schedule

102nd All Home Days

Elysburg Community Park

Welcome to the 102nd All Home Days Celebration

As we all struggle to find our way through recent changes in our society it is nice to fall back and focus on tradition.  The All Home Days Celebration has been an important part of my past as I came here first as a vender, then an Association member, next as Vice President of the Association, and now I am the President of the All Home Days Association.  Every year I look forward to the All Home Days Celebration because it has become a part of my Labor Day tradition.  I spend the weekend in Elysburg and help Ralpho Township recognize its Veterans of the past, present, and future.  I am very pleased to be a part of this community event.

Community involvement has been our focus this year as an Association as demonstrated by the theme we adopted: “Unity through Community.” We have made strides in our social media presence, new membership growth, and assistance with the grounds.  0f course, we could not do this without the generosity of the businesses in this community.  We are so proud of the amount of people that help us make these days possible.  We are always looking to include more of the community into this event and are always looking for volunteers and ideas.  As we move forward, this will continue to be a focus of the Association.

Please remember that the All Home Days Association is not just creating a three-day celebration.  We are here all year round and can be used by community members.  As we make improvements to the park, we are hoping that more people will use these grounds for community events and also events that happen in your everyday lives.  From rentals, recitals, to receptions these grounds have been used more and more and as an Association we are happy to see the new ways our grounds can be used.

Lastly, please enjoy the weekend!  We have a lot to celebrate!  Enjoy the activities we have planned.  On Saturday you can enjoy a nice breakfast, participate in the parade, and enjoy the entertainment on stage.  Sunday includes another great breakfast with a church service, car show, music, and fireworks.  Monday be ready to run the 5k, eat breakfast, celebrate our Veterans, and end with dancing along to another great band. Make sure to visit venders in the Arts and Crafts building and the food venders to fill your appetite.

Thank you to everyone involved in making All Home Days possible,

Edward Lanning, AHDA President
